  • The effect of shock loading on the structural strength of the crane and its stability
  • Principles of safe slinging / types and capacities of lifting gear / security and

  • How to operate the crane to the direction of a signaller using recognisable

  • The statutory regulations in respect of lifting equipment / the operator’s own
  • legal responsibilities
